Hi. I'm Ayjan.

My path to founding Flow State Creative was shaped by two very different, but equally demanding, environments. Growing up between Connecticut and Homer, Alaska, I learned early on that success in any landscape requires a sharp strategy and the quiet willingness to do the work.

My approach is rooted in the mechanics of how we connect. With a Master’s in Spanish Literature and a background in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, I look past the surface of marketing to find the stories and nuances that make a message land. I am fully bilingual and continue to share that expertise as an instructor for Kenai Peninsula College—a role that keeps my communication skills sharp and my perspective global.

This perspective isn’t just theoretical; it is informed by years of navigating the literal and metaphorical tides of small business. Before founding this agency, I spent six years as a USCG 100-ton Master, captaining a charter boat through the unpredictable waters of Kachemak Bay. Today, as a co-owner of Buttwhackers Fillet Company, I still live the seasonal pulse of a small business firsthand. I know the intensity of the "on-season" and the vital importance of making every digital tool work for you when your time is at a premium.

By pairing my academic roots with a Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of Washington, I provide my partners—from local nonprofits to out-of-state ventures—with the technical expertise required to stand out in a chaotic digital landscape and tell your story with authenticity.
